UK NARIC

This is an acceptable alternative to the UKVI ACADEMIC IELTS to prove your English proficiency when applying for a Tier 2 visa .
After assessing your qualifications, they will be able to give you an English Language Assessment document as proof of your English language ability as part of your Tier 2 Visa application .

The steps are as follows :
Log on to https://www.naric.org.uk/naric/
Create a log-in account
Choose the RED ROUTE,Visa and Nationality service

You will see online application,click on apply now

Follow the steps and fill the application pages ,personal details,address,nationality,purpose of application(visa) et al
You will need to upload the following documents :
1 Degree Certificate (MBChB,MBBS,BMMS,etc)
2.Academic Transcripts
3.Letter from your university confirming English was the medium of instruction

Once these documents are uploaded,you can proceed to payment (the fee can vary depending on the postage to the part of the world you are ) - £125+VAT

They aim to finish processing the document in 10-15 days.

I took my IELTS in November 2015. English is the official language of Ghana and it's the medium of instruction in Ghanaian schools at all levels,so I wasn't particularly scared of this exam. In addition i watch a lot of foreign movies and I am an avid reader .
